I just wanted to show off a few of the new antique design that arrived last week .They are ceramic rather than cement and are stunning.Despite being salvaged from old European buildings they are in excellent condition and would immediately create that wow factor wherever they are laid.

Another beautiful way of to enhance your poolside is to add a splash of stunning antique tiles in the design. The Black Diamond antique tile was used as the backdrop for the fountain in this case and has created a focal point for the pool, not to mention the European sophistication .Just a few tiles can add so much and  completely transform a space creating a touch of the exotic and of course colour. The use of the antique tiles as a backdrop to the pool and in the garden area is just another example of how you can enhance a space so simply.

I just received these gorgeous images of a bathroom just completed in the Byron hinterland. The blue and grey mustard encaustic tiles look amazing with the background of greenery and pure nature.I love the mix of the contemporary style bath and shower screen with the old world look and feel of the tiles. The new and old have worked really nicely and complemented each other creating a feeling of harmony and delight .The encaustic tiles have given the bathroom the wow factor whilst the environment has created the harmony-together a delightful mix.

This new arrival is actually the same design as Moroccan Mandala, however, just in black and white.I love the chaos yet order in this design and the black and white make it very definite in its form.I can see this tile creating some 'bazaar' and 'bizzare' in a flat space. Its an encaustic tile full of life.

I recently came across this gorgeous image of a tiled hallway leading into a mysterious archway to?????. The brick walls together with the encaustic tiles work so well. The Royal design showed in this image is definitely one of my favourites in my reproduction range. The muted red and terracotta with their warm tones combined with the tones in the brick have created a very stylish and elegant entrance into the next space. It is very impressionable and I am looking forward to working on a project combining decorative tiles with brick.

This is a gorgeous image that has recently been completed and sent through. It is always so exciting to see the finished product once you have discussed and visualised the outcome. This reproduction tile-Grey Indian Earth is so stylish and fits in perfectly with this older style home.It is subtle yet makes a statement and definitely sets the mood for what you would expect to come across throughout the house– beautiful style.I love it.

I just received these images of the new BIG shop by Fiona Scanlan. The stunning antique encaustic tiles were used in the entranceway which is so in keeping with the style of the building. They look as though they were always there. Then the amazing point of sale in the middle of the shop, covered with one of my favourite designs-Steel Clover. The two designs also work really nicely together, tonally complimenting eachother. I love the old feeling on the exterior and the new, fresh interior-with a touch of old. The tiles work in well with the simplicity of this space. Be sure to drop in to the BIG store in Melbourne which is located in Carlton next time you are there.

I feel so grateful to have been featured in the Inside Out Christmas Issue which came out for sale last Wednesday. The amazing Shannon Fricke( www.shannonfricke.com) did the styling for the shoot and then weaved together her story in her beautiful, poetic way. Prue Ruscoe captured gorgeous angles of the house which can be seen in the images. Its a great magazine and perfect for those seeking Christmas ideas and inspirations.Grab a copy. Thanks Shannon and Prue.I love your combined work.

Just received these gorgeous new tiles and I love them. They have been inspired by some Spanish tiles I have, however, with some colour adjustments they will suit different environments and colour schemes . Spanish Villa would have to be one of my favourite and sort after designs,so,finally they have arrived in a range of 3 colours-Midnight Blue,Blue and Charcoal Grey. They are dramatic, exotic and bold.Hope you like them.I also now have Spanish Flower in a reproduction tile, however ,I thought that I would try reversing the colours which  worked beautifully. The olive green is strong but muted and compliments the red perfectly.I am inspired by many things Spanish and this is just another example.

I just received these two lovely images of an amazing fountain covered in reproduction tiles that has just been completed.I love the combination of colours and designs they bravely put together. The wood, marble and tiles work beautifully creating a structure that looks aged, exotic and stunning.I think it so wonderful when you have a vision, as my clients did,and then see it come to fruition is so rewarding and satisfying.Once again,I love the effect of having differing designs and colours in the one space, and as you can see here-it works.
