I was given this lovely image to post on my blog demonstrating the use of a montage of antique encaustic tiles creating an atmosphere that is memorable, interesting, warm, eclectic and very stylish. The colours and designs work so well together,I just wish I had a space left in my own home to create this same look and feel.I can imagine this montage to work beautifully in a bar or cafe as you would instantly create a European coffee house feel and not to mention an amazing first impression.

I am so thrilled with the new reproduction designs that just arrived.I am particularly in love with this design which I have named Parisian Glamour as it just has that chic feel about it.The colours are strong yet muted which give it that lovely European flavour.I am just picturing it in a beautiful lobby in Paris or the entrance to some gorgeous chateau in the countryside.Another beautiful example of a reproduction encaustic tile.I also have a few other lovely designs that finally made it to my doorstep with more on the way next week.

Just arrived are these lovely old designs reproduced in greys. After many grey requests I thought it was time to go with it ,and I love them.Simple and stylish.Grey, really goes with everything, particularly with stainless steel, polished concrete floors, white walls and just about any colour scheme. For those who want a decorative tiled floor or wall, however,do not want plain white,grey/white is a perfect compromise. With grey being the big exterior colour at the minute-the grey/white tiles would work really well in entranceways or hallways marrying the exterior and interior just with the use of the tiles.I am already looking for a place where I can use them.
