Grey Royal is one of my favourite reproduction designs. It is classic, elegant and for me, feels royal. The lead light windows and the traditional vanity together with the classic design of the Grey Royal tile gives warmth to the bathroom and makes it an inviting space. The lovely tapware and the cast iron claw foot bath all have merged together creating a fresh looking stylish bathroom so suited to the remainder of the old queenslander .  Although the tiles are the feature they have not taken away from the other elements in this bathroom-only enhanced them.

My lovely friend Tina had this great vision to tile her BBQ area and give it that look so often seen in havelis in India and Spain.I love the contrast of the black and white against the green surrounds . Tina's home is quite contemporary and even though this a a classic Turkish design it works perfectly with the style of the home. The tiles also give the stairs more interest and create the feeling that you are about tho enter a special place. Courtyards in havelis are places of coming together which is why they are often beautifully tiled and quaint. I think this BBQ area has definitely captured the feeling that Tina was looking for.

Whilst I have been on holidays many gorgeous new images arrived of jobs that have recently been finished. This gorgeous kitchen is one example of what a difference a decorative splash back can make to a kitchen wall. Moorish Night is one of my favourite designs. It is dramatic without being overbearing and creates that instant exotic mood.It works so well when all its surrounds are quiet and simple so the focus is on the tiles. Being inspired by a classic design it is very suited to an older style home, however, it also works in a more contemporary style and for those who like to be a eclectic and mix their styles. I think this looks amazing and has given the kitchen the lift it wanted.
