I love receiving new designs.I rip open the box to pull out yet another gorgeous patterned encaustic tile. The 3 new designs that arrived yesterday are all very different and would suit totally different spaces-I love that !!!!! The different atmospheres you can create with different colours and designs never ceases to amaze me. I can already imagine how stunning each one of these reproduction tiles would look when laid.

I recently visited the Shubar in Westfield Bondi Junction to have a look at the Moroccan Bazaar which was the chosen encaustic tile for the refurbishment of their store. I was delighted with the result .I love the contrast of the polished concrete bordering the tiles and the rug effect that has been created. The store has been tastefully styled with simply a large display table painted in silver, shelving , a ladder and a vase of flowers.With the tiles as the feature,no more is needed. The shoes are lovely and I recommend a little visit to the Shubar next time you are heading to the Junction.
