Funky Bars

The Carlisle Bar in kellett st, Potts Point recently opened after a major refurbishment. The use of the Black and Grey Flower encaustic tile is stunning. The patterned tiles have added to the mood of the bar nestled in the historic Carlisle House Building. Lenard Design Associates. did an amazing job with the interiors introducing birdcages and trees throughout. In contrast, Manly Salt House has a totally different look Here Mandy Edge chose a number of patterned tile designs and created a fresh, clean look, open and perfect for a seaside location. Fresh and New Encaustic Tile designs

I literally can't wait to rip open the boxes when new designs arrive at my doorstep. Designs that I have worked on and waited for months on end to perfect and then to arrive. Here are a few of the new Jatana Interior designs that are now in the ever expanding range. These designs have been inspired by ancient old patterns and I have tried to modernise them to work with interiors of today. Entranceway Joy

If the entrance to your home is warm, welcoming and creates a feeling of joy it will automatically give you the sense that you are walking into a beautiful home. The entranceway to a home is often neglected as the emphasis is on the interior. Here are some examples of how introducing some pattern and colour through the use of encaustic tiles can make such a difference. The Pink Clover Reproduction Tile was used in the first entranceway and looks incredible. Jo chose this tile to match the exterior colours of her home and she got it just right. The tile has created instant atmosphere as has the Moroccan Flower encaustic tile used in Si and Reine's entranceway. In all the examples shown, the use of some colour and design, even if is a small area makes such a difference and is a lovely use of the encaustic tiles. It creates a feeling of joy!...
