We’re so excited to be hosting another Mosaic Workshop inside the colourful Jatana Interiors showroom in Federal Village. We’re Bayley Kilpin and Taya Mikah, two lifelong friends and artists now based between Melbourne and the Northern Rivers. We grew up making things side by side, and when Bayley started working with mosaic and Taya’s family tile business had sheds full of beautiful broken tiles, running workshops together just made sense.
This two-day workshop is all about creativity, connection and play. On day one you’ll design your piece, pick your tiles, smash and glue. On day two, we’ll grout and polish your mosaic doormat, ready to take home and treasure. All materials are provided, along with morning tea, and no experience is needed. It’s a relaxing, hands-on weekend to make something beautiful, learn a new skill and meet other creative people. Payment plans available.
